Description and comments: "A Spanish cavalier in the ring planting small spears or "Rejoncillos", without any help from his "Chulos".  "A very fine bull, running fast, attacks the cavalier who gallops while holding a "rejon" or small harpoon.  This scene has been so well reproduced and its movements so fully caught, that Goya did not require additional figures to provide contrast.  Only in the background behind the barrier, a group of finely sketched heads serve as a contrast with the figure of the bull."
